The Artist

Sasha Bell

Sashi Handmade

Sasha Bell, the artist behind Sashi Handmade, creates contemporary wall art that weaves texture, form, and light into striking, timeless pieces. Working with sculptural clay shapes and structures suspended on glass, her pieces invite the wall itself to become part of the artwork—transforming interiors into living, breathing galleries.

Raised in an artistic household, Sasha grew up surrounded by creativity. Her grandmother taught university students from her home art studio, while her mother and sisters also shared a deep love of making. Though she spent many years building a career in the corporate world, she was always drawn back to the creative process—the grounding rhythm of making with her hands and working with light and natural materials.

Her fascination with glass began as a child, painting oils onto Mason jars—a spark that grew into a lifelong exploration of materials, reflection, and form. Alongside her visual art, she works in film as a makeup and prosthetics workshop artist and also enjoys pencil drawing and pottery.

Inspired by nature and light, Sasha’s work captures the quiet dialogue between strength and softness, stillness and movement. The varied textures and depths of her suspended forms create surfaces that shift and transform throughout the day—glowing in one moment, shadowed in the next.

Through Sashi Handmade, Sasha unites craftsmanship and artistry to create wall sculptures that feel both grounded and ethereal. Each piece is a meditation on balance—between nature and design, solidity and lightness, tradition and contemporary expression. Her art is not only to be seen, but to be experienced.
